Travel Purpose: business

Positive: – Convenient location in the center of Pegeia, with a big supermarket and bus stop nearby. – About a 10–15 minute walk to the beach. – A pool on the property, which was cleaned and refilled every other day.

Negative: – Extremely loud live music and karaoke from nearby restaurants every night until midnight, making it impossible to sleep. – The villa needs renovation: leaking showers leaving puddles, tap water never hotter than ~40°C, no shelves or hooks in bathrooms, stained towels, mold under the sink, and doors/cabinets that slam like an explosion. – Cleaning and towel change were done only once during a two-week stay (we had to wash towels ourselves). – Saw ants and a couple of cockroaches despite daily cleaning and using ant traps. – Street is unpaved, dark, full of stray cats, garbage, and abandoned houses; no street lighting. Car-sharing vehicles are not allowed to enter this road, so any tire/rim damage would be your responsibility. – Communication was difficult, one of the contact numbers never worked. – Pool maintenance staff entered the villa’s territory very early in the morning (5–6 AM), which didn’t feel private or safe.
